

and least we forget today is Dr.Seuss's birthday and Read across America Day. So for us that means a lot- we love Dr. Seuss, and will read a ton of stories by the fire, and make hats- of course-, and have green eggs and ham for dinner tonight. I actually have a bible study based on the seussical books and how they where written with an underlying christian tone. I am going to use that today with Cat In The HAT, Horton Hears a Who and The Grinch- who I think is the most obvious of a bible based story- his sin, redemption and salvation-.
And with the snow it makes for a good afternoon of story telling by the fire with popcorn.

I plan to use Dr. Suess books for our book projects this week! They are always a big hit with my kids:0)
