this is along the lines of an I-Spy book- and we love those- anyhow its, a bunch of different places animals live and you find them, theres a lot of counting involved. The pictures are beautiful, and cheery. The animals aren;t to hard to find so younger kids don;t get to frustrated looking for them. The other morning Grace and Adam had this and where so involved in it for at least an hour , I did not interrupt. Even my oldest Madeline who is 13 got involved in helping find the friendly animals.

Sometimes in the morning we have been picking up some story, paper or anything and having reading time, the kids like it and sometimes read to each other- good for reading practice, and speaking to others. Since you have to be clear and loud enough to be heard. This is becoming an enjoyable way to begin school and any other day too.

oh, that sounds so nice. I love how you start your school day!
The sequoias are amazing. I have never seen one personally yet, but it is something I must do in my lifetime.
We love to begin the day with a book! Those look like great ones for when Levi is a little older!
The story of the tree sounds interesting. We love I-Spy books as well!! Thanks! Hope you have a great weekend!
these books look great. I think we have one of them. Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment on my blog. I love to hear from anyone that is reading!!
Ooh, both great books! I'd love to get the tree book before our trip to the Sequoias this summer. And we love Usbourne counting books, too. :)
My kids love that 1001 books. We have several of them. However, we have to tell them that they aren't bedtime books as they could go on forever!
